Jedn\u00e1 se o pom\u011brn\u011b nov\u00fd, modern\u00ed a perspektivn\u00ed v\u011bdn\u00ed obor, kdy se studovan\u00fd jev simuluje na po\u010d\u00edta\u010di. C\u00edlem je detailn\u00ed pochopen\u00ed mechanism\u016f, kter\u00e9 jsou pro dan\u00fd jev kl\u00ed\u010dov\u00e9, p\u0159\u00edpadn\u011b predikce chov\u00e1n\u00ed zkouman\u00e9ho syst\u00e9mu za p\u0159edem dan\u00fdch parametr\u016f.<\/p>\n<p>Po\u010d\u00edta\u010dov\u00e9 modelov\u00e1n\u00ed si v praxi vybudovalo v\u00fdznamnou pozici, proto\u017ee umo\u017e\u0148uje v\u00fdrazn\u011b sn\u00ed\u017eit jak \u010dasovou, tak finan\u010dn\u00ed n\u00e1ro\u010dnost v\u00fdzkumu a v\u00fdvoje nov\u00fdch za\u0159\u00edzen\u00ed a technologi\u00ed. Z\u00e1kladn\u00ed postup je takov\u00fd, \u017ee se studovan\u00fd jev pop\u00ed\u0161e bu\u010f na mikroskopick\u00e9, nebo makroskopick\u00e9 \u00farovni rovnicemi, kter\u00e9 se n\u00e1sledn\u011b \u0159e\u0161\u00ed vhodn\u00fdmi postupy numerick\u00e9 matematiky. Pro tento \u00fa\u010del je vyu\u017e\u00edv\u00e1n sofistikovan\u00fd software, kter\u00fd umo\u017e\u0148uje postupovat krok za krokem p\u0159es v\u0161echny etapy simulace \u2013 od tvorby geometrie p\u0159es \u0159e\u0161en\u00ed soustavy rovnic a\u017e po fin\u00e1ln\u00ed vizualizaci \u0159e\u0161en\u00ed. To \u0159e\u0161en\u00ed probl\u00e9mu v\u00fdrazn\u011b zjednodu\u0161uje a urychluje.<\/p>\n<p>A\u010dkoliv se pracovn\u00edci zab\u00fdvaj\u00ed simulacemi cel\u00e9 \u0159ady fyzik\u00e1ln\u011b-technick\u00fdch probl\u00e9m\u016f, hlavn\u00ed pozornost je v\u011bnov\u00e1na p\u0159edev\u0161\u00edm fyzice plazmatu a jeho vyu\u017eit\u00ed v technick\u00fdch aplikac\u00edch. Jako p\u0159\u00edklad je mo\u017eno uv\u00e9st vytv\u00e1\u0159en\u00ed speci\u00e1ln\u00edch fotokatalytick\u00fdch povrch\u016f schopn\u00fdch odbour\u00e1vat organick\u00e9 materi\u00e1ly nebo ni\u010dit mikroorganismy, modifikace povrchov\u00fdch vlastnost\u00ed vybran\u00fdch materi\u00e1l\u016f, anebo vyu\u017eit\u00ed tzv. Advanced Oxidation Processes v oblasti \u010di\u0161t\u011bn\u00ed vod. Pracovi\u0161t\u011b se stalo v t\u00e9to oblasti \u0159e\u0161itelem \u010di spolu\u0159e\u0161itelem n\u011bkolika grantov\u00fdch projekt\u016f, do kter\u00fdch se mohou zapojit tak\u00e9 studenti Jiho\u010desk\u00e9 univerzity v r\u00e1mci sv\u00fdch bakal\u00e1\u0159sk\u00fdch a diplomov\u00fdch prac\u00ed.
